Medicaid Suspension Reversed for Florida Medical Provider

Posted on Firm News January 11, 2016 by author

A South Florida Medicaid provider’s Medicaid suspension was reversed following a formal appeal filed by the Florida health law Firm of Nicholson & Eastin, LLP. The Agency for Health Care Administration suspended all Medicaid payments to a South Florida provider after the Agency suspected the provider was associated with another provider facing federal charges. After working with the Agency to clarify the relationship between the providers, and submitting an appeal on behalf of the provider, the Agency reversed the suspension of payments and reinstated the provider as if no action had been taken.

The Florida health law firm of Nicholson & Eastin, LLP, routinely represents suspended and revoked providers before the Agency for Health Care Administration, and well as before CMS regarding Medicare matters.
