After a 5 month trial in a federal mortgage fraud case results in hung jury, the government dismisses indictment against the title company owner represented by Nicholson & Eastin, LLP. The title company owner, one of 11 defendants in the massive case, was represented by a team of attorneys, including Robert Nicholson, Parker Eastin and Erin Bengele from Nicholson & Eastin, LLP.  The case was vigorously litigated, including constitutional challenges to the indictment and the prosecution itself.  An important feature in the case was the defense securing sanctions against the government for failing to preserve evidence.
